The Social Bugs project is now officially underway! This initiative combines social inclusion and sustainability by providing two key areas of training:
š¹ Vocational training for vulnerable citizens in insect farming, equipping them with skills for sustainable food production.
š¹ Entrepreneurship training for professionals to bridge the gap between social economy and the edible insect market.
Through this dual approach, Social Bugs aims to create new job opportunities, promote eco-friendly food production, and strengthen the role of the social economy in the sustainable food sector.
To mark the beginning of the project, all partners gathered in Copenhagen, Denmark, for the Kick-Off Meeting (KoM), hosted by Bugging Denmark. One of the highlights was the insect-based cooking workshop, where partners explored innovative ways to incorporate edible insects into sustainable diets.
Stay tuned for more updates as we work towards a greener and more inclusive future! š±
