UCPH is ranked among the best 50 universities in the world. It has app. 9000 employees and 40,000+ students of which 9500 studies at the Faculty of Science. Internationally recognized for its research and teaching, the Department of Nutrition, Exercise and Sport (NEXS), is responsible for two BA and five MSc programmes. It has formal and informal collaborations with universities, research institutes and other stakeholders worldwide with a strong presence in Europe.
The Faculty of Science have vast experience with participation in Erasmus+ projects acting as coordinator of several Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree programmes (KA1) while taking part in cooperation partnerships, capacity building and SPORTprojects. The Faculty of Science is continuously involved in 10-15 Erasmus+ projects, and at present, the department of NEXS, is partnering projects addressing mobility, curriculum, didactics and learning outcomes in the areas of nutrition, dance-studies and sports management. The administrative support structure include a separate unit with experienced officers providing pre-award advice on Erasmus+ regulation and best current practices along with post-award consultancy on efficient and successful implementation of projects established in collaboration with international partners.
